ETHYLCHLORIDE SPRAY WALTER RITTER offers double action and thus double effect. It is applied for local skin anesthesia and cryotherapy to treat a great number of indications. Its vapocoolant effect is achieved by the spraying process, as Ethylchloride, previously liquefied by compression, evaporates producing a coldness which leads to a refrigeration and brings about a numbness or pain relief of the sprayed parts of the superficial tissue.

This medication is used to prevent pain caused by injections and minor surgical procedures. It is also used for the temporary relief of minor sports injuries. Ethyl chloride also helps to relieve deep muscle pain when used with muscle stretching techniques. Ethyl chloride is a cooling substance that is applied to the skin to numb it.
